I would highly recommend heading to the Treetop Adventure Park in Western Sydney as a great day out with a few friends or even as a large group.

The staff are very knowledgable and provide straightforward and easy instructions on how to get yourself around the course without needing an instructor to take you through.

At first it can be tricky to get use to the equipment but the awesome part is the course is long enough (maybe even too long once your muscles get sore) that after the first few sections it gets much easier to move through each course.

If I were to go again I'd definitely invest in some gloves so that I can still feel my hands after 3 hours of gripping onto those cable wires!

All-in-all definitely exceeded my expectations and would love to go again!

Approximate cost: $50.0

Location a little hard to find. Definitely an interesting experience. Pushed my limits but the last course I went on (I think it was Red) was too much. Kinda wish there were more people patrolling around so I could have given up earlier, but I tried to keep going since I thought the end was near. (Turns out..it wasn't. XD) Got abseiled (not too gracefully) down from the platform.

Good: Interesting variety in courses. Nice briefing.

Bad: Could have used better flow along courses. Got stuck right at first course because someone was too scared to go down the flying fox. Later on got stuck when people had equipment issues -- The Click system for belaying was sensitive and sometimes capricious -- couldn't be tangled, couldn't be too close to each other.. It wouldn't have been so bad if the people behind them kept on going (limit was two a platform between challenges), but they were often with friends, who didn't want to leave each other...at the expense of the people behind having less time to experience the courses.

Flying foxes were supposed to be nice and a relief from challenges but because several of the wires weren't very taut, after missing one platform and having to use your hands to propel yourself on a slight upward incline to get to the target platform, subsequent flying foxes were more 'OMG MUST HIT TARGET' than 'WHEE!'.

Would DEFINITELY bring/buy gloves for any future experience. There was a lot of clinging to wires for me. Bring grippy shoes because you'll be stepping on/slipping on wires, nets.. Water for in between courses.
