My first experience of having been to this Bistro/cafe was very impressive!! I went there for a catch up with some girlfriens & initialy I was a little anxious (as I had never been to this place before). The service was excellent!! The food was of a very high standard & was served hot! The waitresses were very attentative. My only one concern from this experience was when I asked one of the waitresses there for their opininon on which white wine to order, it was apparent to me that this lady didn't have a clue (but directed me to the wine she believed was the sweetest) & it wasn't sweet at all. Next time I will BYO!!! All in all- WHAT A TERRIFIC PLACE TO DINE!!!! THANKS!!! XXOOXOX

Went to Totis for dinner tonight, probably our fifth or so visit. The place was busy as it can sometimes be therefore very noisey - hard to speak with my family at table with me. We were seated but it took maybe 10 mins for a waitress to bring us menus, first time we experienced such a delay. Tonight the food was not standard it generally is, this is first time service hasn't been great also. Only positive bruschetta was yum, but our mains not so much. Will still go back, am hoping this was a one off occurrence as all our other visits the food has been fantastic!
They have a varied menu, pizza as its also take away and mains ranging from seafood to steak. They sell alcohol there and also have a small kids menu with 3 options. Definitely worth a try. Parking is usually not too difficult either.

After seeing a previous negative review, i felt inclined to provide one of my own (to the contrary). I eat here quite often and do so because the food is great and in fact, the calamari fantastic (never eaten stringy calamari). Service is friendly and prompt and i like the decor (even the green).

Approximate cost: $20-25

I've just returned from dinner at Toti's. From the exterior it looks quite modern. The interior is quite green and sickly coloured however. The staff are well trained polite and prompt and we eargerly awaited our meals. On arrival however the my Matriciana was so overcooked you could visibly notice it. For a spicy pasta it was bland and the cheese was definitely past. It cost $18. My wife had the Calamari which was stringy and at a $26 price point you'd expect it to be spot on. Kids meals were $11 each for a spaghetti and nuggets and chips. All up with drinks and a garlic bread we walked away being stung $87...

However if you fancy a quick place for a drink the staff are great so I'd recommend it for pre-dinner drinks only.

Approximate cost: $26

GREAT food, like something you would have at home, the service is excellent, staff are very friendly and happy with any suggestions. In terms of value, it is so affordable that we eat there twice a week at least and, as a chef, I'm very picky about the food I eat!

Approximate cost: $15-25

The atmosphere and staff are always lovely. Have been here many many times. Great coffees and the chips with aioli are possibly the best in Melbourne. Lovely outside dining area with plenty of shade so you can sit and watch the world go by.

Approximate cost: $20

We've been there several times for breakfast/brunch and enjoyed the food. I can't go past the pancakes with bananas in butterscotch sauce but friends have enjoyed the omlette, scrambled eggs with salmon and the full breakfast. We've also had dinner there a couple of times and loved the pasta dishes. The service is friendly but can be a little on the slow side, especially at breakfast.
