Stop don't buy a groupon voucher until you see the block out dates. I don't know why this café bothered if they didn't want to make any seats available weekends. I have been there the past three weekends and you wouldn't believe the amount of vacant tables and the rudeness when I call or see a vacant table and they tell me to look at their website. This is just disgusting. Get off Groupon or Groupon stop selling

Use to be good then me and my mum went there a few years ago she got a desert said it was way to sweet she couldn't eat it and she has a sweet tooth and all the glasses for water were all dirty looked like they had been hand washed in dirty greasy water
However I caught up with her on Monday and her friend with a guide dog it seems to have new staff or owners or maybe both food was awesome huge amounts glasses clean they brought water for Tom the dog and couldn't help out enough and packed up food for my mum and friend to take home for later

Waited for almost twenty minutes in a near empty restaurant for a flat white and a lemon, lime and bitter (at a cost of $12.40!!) before they arrived in their IKEA mug and glass. Moody service staff offered no excuse for their delay. Waited another ten minutes for our meals. DONT ORDER THE THAI PATTIES. It was one large lump of goo that looked as if it was cooked in a cereal bowl and slopped onto a plate with an "Asian" salad. Funny that this salad was identical to every other salad on the other diners plates. Over priced, crap service and food that is served by a 'chef' that clearly doesn't have any pride in his craft whatsoever. Count me out as a return customer Toscanini's.

New owners for the cafe at Hillarys and the service is appalling. Ive been twice now and both times the service has been terrible. The staff dont know what is on the special menu, contradict one another with food available and never ask for coffee etc after a meal. The food is alright, salads that come with your meals do look a bit old and have a heap of oily dressing over it. Ive had the Calamari and the chicken salad, The chicken salad was very nice but full of oily dressing (which defeats the purpose of having a salad really!). Prices are reasonable

Hi Joey22, As mentioned in my private message, some negative aspects within the food industry cannot be avoided. However when it comes to customer service, there is no excuse for incompetent or ignorant attention. Unfortunately, far too many restaurants still choose to dress their salads in advance. A better alternative would be to allow the consumer to do this for themselves (just prior to consumption), which would allow for adequate taste testing and improved appearance/freshness. Although we have not personally tasted the dressing in question, it is our opinion that far too many restaurants revert to the old-style â??oilyâ?? varieties, instead of the more healthful and flavorsome options. As for your complaint regarding the â??oldâ?? looking salad, there is no excuse for serving such a poor quality item. Thank you kindly for the heads-up! Regards, Reeces
They have a loyalty card for main meals and coffee/desserts. Their feta and sundried tomato muffins and delicious.

I visit Toscanini's last night with my partner for my birthday and I was absolutely amazed at the value for our meal. We had a Surf & Turf meal with prawns, calamari, chips and salad for $17, which is such great value. They have Wednesday night specials that are so worth it. Unfortunately they aren't licensed for alcohol, but they are no doubt great value for money. The meal was awesome!
