I totally recommend Len @ Top Gear Driving School he is a lovely English man with a sense of humour who teaches confidently & effectively to all his students & has a way of showing them that driving is a privilege, that they should show respect on the road at all times.
He also does refresher courses if needed, but will reprimand you if for any reason you needed to be refreshed because of being stupid.
Len taught my son to drive in a late model manual Lancer & he passed his test 1st go & still to this day keeps in touch with him to assist him (if needed) along his driving experience.

I'm of the opinion that If anyone can help you to get your drivers licence it will be Top Gear Driving School. They teach effectively and confidently. They have local knowledge, are reasonably priced, and will tell you honestly when you are ready to sit the test. My kids passed their drivers licence test first time - thanks Gerry! I have also passed his contact details to a number of people who had their L's for a long time after not making any progress on their own. Some have given me feedback that they only reason they now have their drivers licence is because I passed on the contact details.
