BUT it is $12.
Is it worth it - you'll have to try it for yourself.
But I'm just not sure about $12....
They usually have five choices, cheese toastie for the purists, a vegetarian option, and a few more sophisticated & substantial ones. They also offer a range of sodas.
The ingredients are undeniably of a high quality, and no shortcuts are taken in the execution of the product either. The toasties are made with organic ZeallyBay sourdough which toasts beautifully. It's dense and crunchy but easy to bite into.
As for the fillings - take the following as an example of toastie sophistication - Charlie, a swiss cheese, chicken, bacon, roast capsicum and basil walnut pesto.
So yes, these are very good toasties. But I'm still not sure about the $12....
