Very cosy and welcoming Italian restaurant. If coming in off the street, come early or you will be disappointed. This place is popular. Lovely food, nice portion size, and flexibility around drinks orders

Tipo 00 specialises in making pasta and does so very well indeed. The texture of the hand made pasta is divine.
The menu is nicely put together. I have sampled luxurious Moreton Bay bug risotto and the broccolini orecchiette.
Another thing which i really liked is the quality complimentary bread with ricotta, accompanying dishes. A nice change from the usual olive oil.

Nice simple yet interesting food served at Tipo. Ie. Stinging Nettle Risotto, lovely braised Rabbit Ragu. The style is rustic farmyard italian, using unusual/less common ingredients in the way that italian families would use such ingredients to prevent wastage of produce/game. Nice to have an italian restaurant that serves plates that differ from the standard run of the mill options.
