Not great. The meals were very average. The spaghetti I ordered was obviously from a packet. Okay but wouldn't go out of my way to go here. Pretty disappointed.

Approximate cost: $25-30

The restaurant is pleasantly decorated, quite a nice atmosphere to sit and chat both indoors and outdoors. Close to the uni so convenient for catchups with uwa buddies. The iced chocolate/coffees are pretty good, and their dishes are of pretty big portions. However, the food is pretty average and not really worth the price. Would probably go back on the odd occasion but this won't be a favourite.

Wowee, what can I say?! Service was personable, ambience was vibrant (though we had a big table next to us and someone was talking at a high pitch tone), huge portions and great price. I think this is going to be my new favourite place. We order a tasting plate that had smoked salmon, prawn, chorizo, bread, pate for $17.90. It was delicious. Then came the mains of chicken parmigiana (the largest I have ever seen) that came on a bed of spaghetti and salad, and I would say enough for 2, and the other main of Moroccan lamb cutlet was sensational and bursting with flavour. We had a bowl of shoe string fries and could not even finish it. Will definitely visit again!

Nice location and reasonable service (even for Perth). Food tastes good. Just a shame they don't bring the bill to the table.

I went there once, when I was at UWA, but never went back. I bought a pasta, something with a fancy name, but it tasted like any other pasta. One of my friends used to work at Spices, the local grocery store and said he delivered food to Tiamo. He said, the almost rotten tomatos /veges that they would put in the rubbish, or put on sale, they would deliver them to Tiamo. He used to laugh at this saying something like almost rotten tamatos, which cost less than $1, they would use it in their pasta sauce and then charge you over $25.

Great meals throughout the day, I'd recommend breakfast or dinner there. Wonderful range, and all the dishes are cooked beautifully. They seem like they should be more expensive than they really are. Pick nights when it's not so crowded though (most weeknights are fine), as the staff aren't great at keeping track of you when it's hectic.

Approximate cost: $20ish

Used to go here a fair bit when I passed through that area, but now that I no longer pass that way, it's not really special enough for a special trip. For a coffee and cake- recommended; for a meal- not recommended, especially the pasta.
