Was greeted with a welcoming smile as soon as I walked in, ambience was overall warm and inviting. Service was friendly and efficient - our coffees and cake arrived quickly. Coffee was good, although my iced mocha resembled more of an iced coffee - but still excellent quality. Disappointed with the glasses though, which appeared cloudy and a bit battered; and the plate, which was chipped. Cake presentation was good, though not as large, or good quality, as I would have expected given the price.

The Subtle Eye is a quaint little cafe that not only sells coffees but a small selection of sandwiches/foccacias, and a few other light gourmet meals. The staff are welcoming and food arrives quickly making it an ideal place for lunches during work breaks.

This place used to be a funky little bar so we were sorry to lose our favourite drinking spot but the awesome pasta is well worth the change. Absolutely delish pasta, yummy breakfasts and the Illy coffee has always been awesome! Great service and reasonably priced - highly recommend!

A great breakfast range serving best produce. it has an italian based lunch menu if your after someting different, i enjoyeed it very much, it also has the best coffee in bendigo, i believe anyway. One for the coffee connoisseurs, a quality product in illy, which is renowned around the world as one of the best.

I enjoy drinking yummy coffee here. It's fairly small so I usually only go with one other person, and sometimes 2 or 3 people. I really like the atmosphere - it makes me feel like I am drinking coffee in a cafe in Melbourne. It is open to late, so often a good place to go after dinner when I want to go somewhere different for coffee!
