This is a decent suburban pub. It has a good sized TAB that draws an alright crowd and they put on standard pub grub quality food. They quite regularly have specials but it isn't a pub you world go out of your way to visit but if you live in the neighbourhood it's not too bad for a beer and a bet

The Stafford tavern is about average pricing, but the meals are huge. Everyone at our table enjoyed their meals and the kids were happy with their choices. They have an outdoor playground, but you could not properly see it from inside and it was detached from the restaurant, so I didn't feel comfortable letting my kids play unless I was in there with them. The staff were generally friendly and polite.

Was surprised by the enthusiasm and responsive staff. We were seated immediately and drinks orders taken straight away. We were asked if the children's meals should come first (which we normally have to ask for at restaurants). Only suggestion is to make the playground a little safer with more bark, remove the rocks and perhaps a few more things for the littler ones. Overall, a pleasant surprise.

Approximate cost: $30

My family and I are regulars at The Stafford Tavern. I've also held around a dozen business lunches there for 10-20 people, plus I often hold client meetings in the restaurant. The staff are always friendly and obliging and the food is delicious. It's a great family venue and there's plenty to do (playground for kids, pokies/TAB for adults, Friday night meat tray raffles and so on). It has free, easy parking, is comfortable, welcoming and well decorated. Highly recommended.

Approximate cost: $20

The Stafford Tavern has been around for years and is a reasonably good place to go for a drink if you are going local. It has been renovated so is quite modern. My husband particularly likes the TAB facilities in this tavern. They have quite a big set up.

Reasonably priced drinks, friendly service and a restaurant as well. The food in the restaurant is ok too, and prices are fair.

Approximate cost: $15
