As a child of the 70s and confirmed dentist coward I had the smile place recommended to me many years ago and I am so grateful to that friend.
Rob and his staff are so lovely and gentle that once I even nearly fell asleep in the chair!
I wouldn't go anywhere else.

I was recommended to Andre' as my Dentist was away, not only did he squeeze me in for a consultation, he was able to fix my problem with great care and detail a few days later. I would like to point out that the anaesthetic given was totally unbelievable, never experienced it before, no pain, no swollen face, walked out feeling normal for once, yeh !!

Dr Julie Pham has taken excellent care of me.As an older person I am particularly grateful for her kindly care.The clinic is calm and welcoming,as are all staff.

I would recommend this dentist to all ages, our whole family goes there. I have great faith in Dr Andre , his advice and methods. Whilst no one particularly likes visiting a dentist, he is caring and the various jobs I've personally had done were painless, efficient and more importantly I think done to the latest and high standards.

After moving down to the Peninsula I dreaded having to find a Dentist that I could trust as I've always been a "white knuckle" patient. From the moment I stepped into the building I was made to feel very welcome. The receptionist stood up from her desk and welcomed me and I was greeted with the friendliest smile. The Dentist that I saw was Andre and he was so nice and he explained what was causing my pain and how it could be treated. I had some treatment on the day and was given a treatment plan. The Nurse was so lovely too ( can't remember her name ) and made me feel so much more at ease. I'll be back for sure. I can highly recommend Andre and the Smile Place.

I would just like to say how impressed I was with Dr Andre Schertel and the staff at The Smile Place, Andre was so incredibly thorough and gentle through out all my dental treatment both general and cosmetic. I couldn't be happier with my new smile.

A true "dental phobe" I have avoided the dentist for many years due to awful experiences as a child. Andre and the staff were so wonderful. I was put at ease from my first contact over the phone and that continued through my consultation. Andre spent time chatting with me before even looking at my teeth and I started to feel more calm than I thought possible. In consultation with Andre we decided the best way to manage my fear for my first fairly major procedure and I am confident that in future I should be able to manage with gas and local. Cannot recommend this dental practice highly enough! Need more than 5 stars!!
