I go here for hamburgers as I'm not a seafood lover. The hamburgers are delicious and always fresh, however the last few times they have been cold. Very disappointing. They used to do the best chicken burgers until they changed their schnitzels.

For fresh seafood takeaway in the area this is probably the best quality, however I often avoid because I have found the service to be a little lacking and would much rather sacrifice a small amount in quality for exception service elsewhere.

Lovely staff at The Sea Shanty. Always willing to take 5 to answer questions regarding their meals. Meals are always fresh and service is fast.

I like their burgers but I find them quite expensive. They are nice, big and fresh. But it works out too expensive to eat out with the family. Service is good too.

Sorry but they just do not appeal the fish was oil soaked with the batter not cooked enough was very disappointed with the amount of chips received overall a very poor effort

The food is pretty good. Try the burgers. I'll agree with the previous response, to a point, in that you do expect more from the portion sizes in the chips. I've felt ripped a couple of times when getting $5 worth of chips, however the seafood is fresh, he batter is light, and the food is filling even for small portions. The burgers are pretty massive too, but you can pay anywhere between $5-$8 for one. The packs are good value though and always full to the brim. Place your order, go for a walk, 10 mins later your food is waiting for you.
They can't be too bad, I always see plenty of customers there when I go past. Seems pretty popular to me so they gotta be doing something right eh?

Excellent customer service, Great food, They sell FRESH seafood as well as Take-Away foods. The fish is cooked in a beautiful light crispy batter. They even have yummy fresh prawns.
