We went to the Quarry for pre-dinner drinks. The atmosphere was lovely and the back courtyard is very cute but as you would suspect full of smokers so not good for the non smoker. The couches were comfy and the service from staff was good. We would go there for drinks again

Beautiful food in a beautiful setting. My partner's speak was perfect but mine was still mooing. They brought out a new steak, which was perfect. Choc fondant is a must! On the expensive side for such simple food, but pleasant service & atmosphere make up for it. Very enjoyable.

My husband and I stayed in their self contained apartments upstairs for a couple of nights. The sandstone building is beautiful and the location is perfect, right in the heart of salamanca place. The staff were helpful & friendly however the walls are paper thin and we could hear everything that was said in the room next door as if they were in our own room! I've never experienced anything like it! I was so disappointed because I loved the room but unless they fixed the ridiculous sound problem, I would not stay there again.

I'v had a lovely chocolate fondue here a while ago and it was just lovely, it had pieces of marsh mellow, fruit bread and strawberries to dip into real chocolate, it was so yummy! i recently went back to have that same thing but i was informed that it is no longer on the menu which is highly dissapointing as it was sssssoooooo nice!!!

Nice place for lunch, especially in good weather. Lovely food, had the pancakes with mixed berries and ice cream - more please! Plenty of other things tempted, but the lamb rack with red currant jus won out, and I wasn't disappointed.

I love the breakfast menu at Quarry Salamanca, particularly the buttermilk pancakes and bircher muesli.
Some of the main meals at dinner can be expensive, such as the beef which is $37, but there are some reasonably priced items on the menu for around $20.
I think the breakfast is well priced, especially considering the beautiful venue. The prices are comparable to other venues that serve that type of breakfast ($10-$20).
It's a great venue for New Years Eve as they often offer an all inclusive package.

The décor at The Quarry is beautiful both inside and in the area outside. There's lots of seating inside, with a few comfy couches where you can relax with a drink. The restaurant offers modern Australian cuisine which is perfectly cooked and presented.

The outdoor area has a lovely stone backdrop, which I believe use to be an old quarry in Salamanca.

If you're a guy - make sure you visit the men's toilets for a unique view.

A very nice restaraunt with a good menu, daily specials are usually very nice choices. It's a little expensive but the atmosphere is great and the service very high quality.

Approximate cost: $20
