Decent pub with good beer range. Good chips, wedges. Staff friendly. Attached bottle shop is overpriced. Use IGA corner Brunswick and Lygon instead.

To be honest I only come here if I'm really hungry and funds are low! Interior is pretty dated and in need of a revamp though I don't come here for that, the food here is reasonably priced and at times you can get more bang for your buck. Though it does tend to be a bit hit and miss. I've had exceptional food here before but I've also had some shockers. It's classic pub food like roasts and parma's, I usually go for a parma since I've never had a bad experience with it. It is always a generous size and quite tasty.

A pub with a lot of history - a Kane brother from 'Underbelly' was shot and killed here in the 80's. Nowadays it has a pleasant, relaxed ambience. Have a drink and relax on the couches or share a meal outside in the sun.
