What a hidden gem this place is, while the decor is out dated, the food was above excellent, sweets yum, coffee so nice and food, well go and try you will go back for more, The menu was differant from other places, a delight. thank u

A great place to take friends visiting the area. The atmosphere is delightful and offers many different eating areas. Food, service and location make this a great place to relax and enjoy either a meal or coffee.

We have been to the Purple on quite a few occasions breakfast, lunch, dinner and afternoon tea. We have been there just a couple, with friends and as a family group for birthdays/Mothers Day lunch. The food and the service are generally very good however on days when they are busy, it can be a little slow.

The Purple Duck is my favourite restaurant in Geelong & District. The food is always first class and the service is excellent. Lovely atmosphere, just a delightful dining experience.

Been here a few times and always enjoyed it. An OK menu range, reasonable wine list, food quality, presentation and value all good.

Needs table linen and side plates; little touches like that make a difference.

A lovely little cafe/restaurant with a warm ambience about it. Staff are wonderful always smiling and very friendly. The food is wonderful. My sister had a party there and the catering was excellent. Been back for breakfast twice as it is so delicios. Some things are abit pricey for the amount you receive but once you taste the food that thought soon disappears.
