We visited Goomeri recently on a bus trip(42 people) and was disappointed that they had no pumpkin pies that they are famous for. The other pies were nothing to write about(very ordinary). The tourist shop knew we were coming.SOLD OUT at 1pm for the day.

Approximate cost: $4-$6

My friends and I went to this awesome little cafe on our way home from Bundaberg. From the outside it looks like your normal small cafe, but when you step in it's quite big. We were greeted by a wonderfully kind lady who immediately got us some water before we even ordered anything. When we placed our order we were struck by the quaintness of the place and looked around at all the interesting pictures and things they had hanging on the walls and ceiling. While we were waiting the lady came out and gave us gummy bears! We were very happy. I ordered a homemade steak pie made by (I'm assuming) her husband and it was absolutely lovely! When we left I discovered I had locked my keys in my car and so we had to wait for RACQ it was a very hot day and while we were waiting the lady from the Pumpkin Pie gave us all bottled water and offered to keep the place open while we waited. In all, awesome food and the nicest people you will ever meet!
