Stopped here for a coffee fix after a shopping expedition. We sat and recuperated and enjoyed a great mug of coffee each. Friendly and helpful staff so a good spot to visit
We just had lunch at this place and frankly I wouldn't recommend it. My chunky steak pie tasted stale and was grisly. It was obvious that I didn't enjoy it as there was still a bit left on my plate. However no questions were asked when my plate was cleared! My mothers toasted sandwiches took ages to come and when they did we were told that the msg to make them hadn't been passed on!! The sandwiches though were tasty. Coffee was average. Frankly this cost about $18 altogether so not cheap. The service was slow and this business really needs to lift its game as far as I'm concerned. Needless to say we won't be returning!!

what would you expect to get for $18 a smorgasbord!! Toasted sandwiches a pie and 2 coffees. wonder what this would cost in town. I think this place is lovely. nice food and service. Not fair to rate businesses negetavily they are just trying to make a living and mistakes do happen. reviews like this ruin peoples liveliness
I'm so glad you think this place is lovely. It's my democratic right to state my opinion about a restaurant and that's what these websites are for. I also post favourable reviews when I'm impressed with a restaurants food and service.
This place wasn't great and I don't intend to go back. Hopefully they have lifted their game since my review last year. Maybe that's why you think it's so good now.
My husband and I stopped in here for a cup of coffee after shopping in the vicinity. Pleasant spot, friendly staff and clean tables. A pick me up before heading home for lunch.

We had a quick lunch here about 1.30pm. There was not a lot of choice of hot food for my husband but he said his steak pie was fine. I had a small salad that was made of fresh salad makings with some cheese. It was pleasant but took awhile to come. Lots of lovely desserts on show - mouthwatering
very clean , excellent food, lovely owners , great service, fantastic coffee , lots of parking , fabulous focaccias , great pasty and custard tarts :o)
Nice little lunch time cafe, located down the Woolworths end, nice coffee and a good selection of bakery items
