Many people always rave about Pancake Parlour, and I finally took an opportunity recently to try it... only to be very disappointed. Overpriced, and really average pancakes. The cocktail (toblerone) I ordered was only okay, and I left feeling pretty bummed to have wasted the time going. Friendly staff though

Pancake Parlour is what it is. Whilst the whole menu is quite pricy, the place is soooo handy being right next to the cinemas and they are open late. The U shaped booths are a bit of fun when you come with a group and the atmosphere in the restaurant is good. Not too quiet, not too loud and cosy! Usually you can get a shopadocket for 2 for 1 shortstack which always makes the place more appealing. I love the old school wobbly mirrors and old films! of course the paraphenalia on the walls that moves on the hour is just great

Open until late - which is great for dessert after a late movie. Not only pancakes, although I do go for the Bavarian apple pancake, main means & breakfast too. They use only organic eggs & the service is always 5 star

Fantastic service!!! Last weekend a group of 10 went to pancake palour for a quick bite before the movies, the manager was very friendly and accomodating to move tables and have us all sitting together.

Great food. Yum yum yum yum YUM.

Incredibly overpriced though, we just can't justify it on even a semi-regular basis, you can get a high quality restaurant meal for the same price.
Everyone should try it at least once though. Go during the lunch period and get the $18 deal. You get one of the main courses (more than filling enough) and a dessert with it.

We used to love the Pancake Parlour... took our two year olds with us this time. Seated quickly but then forgotten. Ended up going down to McDonalds to get them something to eat while we waited to be served. Finally got the meal, cottage fries were burnt and the serving size attrocious for the cost. Spoke to the manager at the end who gave us some "vouchers". These were only flyers that saved us NOTHING and were actually well expired. Saving grace was she only charged us half price for the cottage fries we got. Although my tabriz was nice... over priced, and we are not going back again. PATHETIC.

I think everyone would agree Pancake Parlour charge through the roof, but the meals are good and the pancakes are delicious. An excellent restaurant to visit on a special occasion and a bit of a charge to the ordinary food available elsewhere.

Check it out if you've never been there, otherwise keep it for a good occasion.

Love the food here, hate the prices. Everytime I eat here I feel like I'm beoing ripped off because everything on the menu (drinks included) are so overpriced. A dessert (like a banana split) is the same price as a main meal, which to me just doesn't seem right. Service is ok, nothing special. This place is in business and people keep going here because not many places make good pancakes. Pancake Parlour does, but you sure pay for it!

Great location nice relaxing environment. Has great value meals and the food is always fresh and yummy. Staff helpful and friendly. It is a good place for a quick snack or a meal

the only place you can enjoy a pancake and an ice-cream at one time !! its an excellent place to go . open till late in Melbourne city.. a little high on pocket though, but worth every penny of it.. mouth watering experience
