I go here for the big breakfast it's so yummy I can never finish it all. The prices on some stuff is a bit pricy for me. The staff are really nice and I love the look of the place it's real retro the place has a calm feeling to it

Okay let me try to give you an idea.
If you like the old school atmosphere, this is the place to be. From the tables to seats it looks, and smells like the 70's and 80's.

Friendly staff, the lady with short hair asked me if I liked the food, they obviously care about customer satisfaction.

Food can be a bit pricey, but you'd be coming here for the atmosphere and 'elvis menu' that's right, insane stuff that elvis ate to his grave.

I've been here twice in the same week, have yet to taste anything gone off just yet. I'll definitely be coming here again.

Coffee has always been fairly good, so that and their good location is what keeps them afloat, I suspect. I've experienced rotten lettuce, unimpressive food, employees smoking just outside the courtyard doorway and general indifference from the staff. This generally means it's a place I'd not recommend. Other comments on this page are fairly accurate in my mind. I am sad to give such a review for a potentially fantastic local cafe.

It could have more going for it. Service is rather blase for one of the only places of this type around. They do have music on Fri and Sat evenings in warmer months and their coffee is good. Ok for an occasional coffee.

Approximate cost: $13.00

I keep going back for the Green Thai Curry! It's (usually) wonderful! Lunch version better than the dinner version. Lunch version has curry in a bowl and mound of rice next to it. Really lovely. However, one time the rice was obviously "old" - it was crunchy and you could pick the whole pile up with a fork! I mentioned it to the waitress and she just asked if I wanted my money back. No apologies!

Best coffee in Australia!!! Great funky place too. Great for a lunch or just a coffee and cake during the day.

The concept and atmosphere of the place is great. It's a very funky little cafe, but the lack of quality food and coffee plus the staff's indifference ruins it.

Staff think they're a little too cool for school, the ham, cheese and tom sandwich should have been tangy and cheesy but it seemed the tomoatoes were too firm and they scimped on the cheese. A little pricey. The overall score is higher becuase the atmosphere really makes the place... love the owner, love the art and love the old school decor.

Approximate cost: $17

A little pricey, but the cafe has atmosphere and comfort, excellent customer service and is inevitably showing the work of some interesting but obscure local artist.
