This is my mums and partners local Chinese
They often get it and really enjoy it
They normally get pretty much the same dishes
We got it on Mothers Day it was really good
However we ordered it the other night and it was a real disappointment
There was virtually no flavour in the meals
The Honey chicken was soft and while had a lot of glaze to it had no honey flavour
The garlic prawns were the same the prawn were tasty and cooked well but you couldn't taste any garlic on them
The broccoli and pea dish was also supposed to contain garlic but that was also the same cooked well but no garlic flavour
The steak and mushroom dish the meat was a grey colour mum said it looked boiled there was no flavour to it
The fried rice was good as always
There food is normally full of flavour and honey chicken is crispy with beautiful honey flavours
I'm not sure what happened the other night weather it was change of chef or ingredients ?
I hope next time we get it its great as usual
