This is an excellent cafe. Beautiful views & wonderful food. I have been there twice now & on both occasions I couldn't fault the service or the meal. I always suggest this restaurant as a place to go if you'd like an intimate but relaxed lunch. They can get quite busy so you may need to book. Definitely a place to try.

There are few choices for a nice lunch and this place exploits that by making you wait and wait. Not enough service staff and somewhat cheerless when you do get served.
The food was nice but over priced for what it was.
Initially we turned up at 2.30 and were bruskly told the kitchen was shut. However on checking their website they advertised they were open til 4.00pm. I took some persuasion to come back but there are so few options around the eastern side of Lake Macquarie for a nice lunch. My wife prevailed though I must say given how unwelcome we were made to feel and how slow it was and the bill I'd have to be dragged back. Oblivion awaits such a patronising attitude.

Nice little cafe tucked away on the lake at Murrays Beach. Beautiful views and setting amongst the trees. We only had hot chocolate and cake (which were awesome) but had a look through their menu and are going to go back for breakfast or lunch as there were many tasty things at good prices.
Staff were very friendly, very efficient at servicing and cleaning the tables, and they know what they are doing.
