1 review about The Guitar Shack

Now let's be clear. I'm a Baby Boomer. Therefore, when it comes to Musical Instruments, particularly guitars, amps and pedals, then us ex-hippies have the upper hand. See, we grew up with Fender, Marshall, Gibson, Rickenbacker, Hofner, Gretsch so we know how these dudes sound. And, they DO sound far superior to the new name under $300 guitars and amps flooding the market from you know where.

Now, the Guitar Shack isn't a fancy store. There's no pimpled salesmen running around in black shirts and no pressure to buy. In fact, the place looks like, 'a shack'' - hence the name.

But what you get are great hand selected musical instruments, a nice range of amps and accessories and great service. Student guitars are also in stock and all guitars are set up in house. If you want to learn to play guitar, the Guitar Shack's resident teacher Mario will make you a red-hot player in no time.

And if your band needs to rehearse, there is a great room right next to the Shack.

Prices are very good - in fact better than I expected and the service is personal. This really is a nice place to come to. Note their opening hours are not traditional 9-5 so give the guys a call to get their business hours.
