Pizza and beer you can't beat it! The deck is a great gathering place, although, as is often the case in this area, parking can be hard to come by!

I head to The Grove every Tuesday for trivia. If you head there on a Tuesday night they also have specials where you get a pizza and beer for $13 or pizza and wine for $15. The trivia is great - very relaxed and not one of those syndicated ones that you get at most pubs. It's downstairs in the "Roots Bar" and is run by a Scottish guy named Charles. The atmosphere is great, but I wish they would get the air conditioning working!!! Upstairs you'll find the restaurant, which has fantastic food. The ribs and the lamb shank are amazing! Check the website for specials on different days.

Approximate cost: $29

Had lunch at this restaurant. The service was excellent although it was quite expensive. As for the food, I would have expected a little more considering what I paid. I odered the pizza which was tasty although needed alot more topping for how much I paid. Other than that it was a great atmosphere and looked great inside which had a kind of warm feel with nice decor and seating. A clean and well decorated restaurant although they need to reevaluate their menu if they want to keep charging the same prices.

You have to try the ribs! They come with delicious coleslaw and awesome crunchy chips and the whole meal is superb! Lots of nooks and crannies to choose from, friendly staff and a great drinks menu too. Definitely a place to take your friends.

Approximate cost: $25

Very nice place to have a lunch or dinner or casual drinks. Cute little deck at the back for drinks and pizza. They have some special offers on most of the time. Also good decor for a special occasion.

Great for a casual night out. My friends and i like to go there to chill on the couches for a coffee, or play some pool and have a few drinks. The pizzas are great too.

Approximate cost: $20

To be honest i have only been there for coffee and drinks but the coffee is great and there is a cute little bar downstairs. Basically really one of the few places to get a drink in Ashgrove. I have heard the pizza is yum.
