The fruit and vegetables are so fresh and amazing quality - so much better than the supermarkets. Staff are friendly and it's just a pleasure to shop here.

I wish I could give 6 stars for service. The friendliest service around. Great quality and variety of fruit, veg, eggs and other specialty bits and pieces. A great example of a local small business supporting the community.

I am always an advocate in supporting local businesses so when I moved to Belgrave Heights I was told to visit The Groovy Fruit Shop. I can't praise Brigitte and her team enough in the service they provide - they are sooooo friendly and treat their customers like they were one of the family. The produce at the shop is fantastic with some great prices. (often lower than your major supermarkets and looking fresher) Local growers are sought as much as possible and there is always an abundance of fresh flowers, pantry products and some gourmet products. They have a loyalty card for customers which provides 20% off on the 12th visit. What an amazing find up the mountain....

The Groovy Fruit Shop - just dig that 70's name,
is a hidden gem in the Belgrave South shopping area in the Dandenong Ranges. The fruit and vegetables are fresh and good quality. From what I've seen so far the prices are as good if not better than in a supermarket. I recently paid a third of the price per kg for zucchinis compared with the supermarkets. I bought some two weeks prior so it wasn't just a special of the day. The shop also stocks a fairly good range of perishable and non perishable deli items such as dips, pasta and olives.
