I had a Vegetarian bagel here. It contained grilled eggplant and sundried tomatoes on a multigrain bread. I could choose to not have the feta cheese and have the basil pesto on the side. It was tasty but much too oily. It would be great if there were more raw salad ingredients in it and the veggies not cooked in so much oil.

Approximate cost: $9

I had the same and agree it was too oily. Quite pricey at $8.90 but used Entertainment voucher offer of 1 main meal for 1.

This is the cutest store! Even though it's a store mainly dedicated to bagels, they have put their own little twist onto most combos. I had a blueberry and cream cheese bagel which was delicious. The service is also great, but the prices are a little high.

Approximate cost: $25

Agree that it's quite expensive for what you get unless you have an Entertainment Book voucher for a one for one meal.

I agree that it's much more worth it when you have the Entertainment book voucher.

I love having a cafe dedicated to bagels!

It's a cute little place in the middle of Castle Towers. It's a nice atmosphere when I visited with my mum to have lunch, and they have comfy little booth tables which was nice.

Their menu range isn't massive, but is just the right size as pretty much all the items sounded pretty good - classics as well as unique combinations. There was a bit of everything and I even had a bit of a hard time deciding what to order. In the end I ordered the smoked salmon + cream cheese bagel on multigrain and it was delicious :) - generous amount of fillings considering a bagel isn't that big anyway.

Didn't give more than 3 stars for value though just because the prices didn't scream out 'bargain!', but were as expected. Bagels mains were about $10 and chicken schnitzel/beef burger +fries meals were about $15. Not including drinks, but again, not too bad.

Try it out for a light meal or snack when at Towers!

Approximate cost: $10

Agreed! I really think their prices are too high for what they're selling.. A lot of my friends would agree- if their prices were just $1-2 cheaper, we would go much more often!

Thanks for your comment! True, they do have nice items on the menu, but for the size of them just those couple of dollars would really make a difference.

If they would make the servings larger, they would have better business I think. Kind of like subway, but more gourmet.

This is a new cafe outside David Jones so we decided to have lunch there today. My husband had the Steakhouse beef burger with curly fries & onion rings and I had the Chicken Schnitzel with aioli sauce, curly fries, onion rings and salad at $15.50 each. The chicken schnitzel and onion rings were overdone, crispy and dry as a result so I had to dip in the sauce to make it taste better. His burger looked okay but I wouldn't order the same if I were to go there again. Service was a bit slow. We used the 2 for 1 Entertainment Book voucher so it was more worthwhile. The other bagels were priced around $9 - $10.

Approximate cost: $15.50

The service was quite fast the last time I went. It could have been the particular order, or you went at a busier time.
