Wow what a spectacular display of plants of all sizes and beautiful pots. Came up to buy bio grove bark nuggets and had a wonderful surprise. Staff were extremely friendly and the plants were well priced and looked very healthy and cared for. Definately worth a visit.
This is a well stocked nursery with knowledgeable staff, such a huge variety with prices being reasonable. Would definitely recommend a look if in the area.
My wife and I are regulars here, well set up with a huge variety of healthy plants. Prices are reasonable and the staff very friendly and helpful, they certainly are knowledgeable.
Probably the best garden nursery in the Adelaide Hills. Amazing stock, very healthy plants and a large variety. Would definitely recommend this to friends. Cheaper than the local Bunnings and Mitre 10 (I checked), actually got sent there whilst at Mitre 10. Very knowledgable and helpful staff too.
My wife and I are regulars here, large variety and friendly helpful staff
A very well set out nursery with very knowledgeable friendly staff. Plants are really well looked after & healthy. Well stocked with all sorts of plant varieties. A pleasure to just stroll around.
I was actually referred here by a worker of a garden centre in Norwood, so I thought it must be good. And I was not disappointed! Such healthy plants, with so many different species to choose from - both small plants and mature trees. The prices were also very, very reasonable - I'm kicking myself for spending $39.95 on fruit trees, when their standard price was $24.95. The staff were very friendly, and extremely knowledgable. I have organised one of their design consultants to come visit my place (one hour free consult) to help me design my garden, and I cannot wait! Definitely worth the travel to the hills from the city.
I absolutely agree with you bena20, this is a fabulous garden centre. My husband and I go here often.
A great family run business with beautiful healthy plants and just about the biggest selection of mature trees you will see in SA. I got a gorgeous trellis which was incredibly reasonably priced and the plants I got were just thricing. Service was great and the staff really know their stuff.
Don't you think you have exaggerated a little too much in your comment? There a number of garden centres in SA that are far better than this one. I give the owners a tick for opening their doors in this tough economic climate and wish them the best but really they come up against some far superior garden centres.
Nope. My plants were very healthy. They do actually have a range of HUNDREDS of mature trees...thus placing them as one of the biggest range of mature trees. The trellis I bought was well received by my mother who also thought it was gorgeous (although she did not know the price to agree with me on that point). Also the plants I bought are still healthy now and I do believe that the staff know what they are talking about....not sure where the exaggeration comes into it? If by superior you mean larger then perhaps you have a point. If you want a negative to balance the positives then perhaps they are out of the way for a lot of people....but I imagine locals to the area would find them to be an excellent place to visit.
chris21d I am just wondering if you have you been here? And if so, your thoughts? As I believe KerryR2 is certainly not exaggerating. I'm from the city, and her observation of how far people have to travel does not even phase me. Their range and sheer number of species is outstanding, whilst their staff are very knowledgeable and helpful. Plus their design services are very unique, I do not know of any other garden centre that offers such a service.
