Used to visit this place often and enjoyed it but now under new management and haven't enjoyed the last couple of visits. On the last occasion the food wasn't hot enough and the coffee only mediocre. The person who served me seemed a bit frazzled and was decidedly rude to someone who came in to enquire about staff vacancies. Didn't leave with a good impression.

A cute little deli style cafe with great staff and a great place to grab a delicious toasted/fresh baguette! I loved the toasted vegetarian baguette. And the drinks are all great too!

Hard to find, but delicious food, great coffee and value for money. My husband is a fussy and avid Chocolate Milkshake fan and he definately rates Essence. They do a cracking breakfast - loving the homemade crumpets!!

Approximate cost: $7-10

Nice quality food for breakfast or lunch but I found it a bit pricey. They have limited choices for children, no plain bread for sandwiches etc, very gourmet.

Approximate cost: $15.00
