The villas are made for memories. The staff are warm and the spa is indulgent what a wonderful and memorable way to celebrate a special occasion. Please continue with the level of service and maintenance of the Retreat so that we can continue to enjoy the experience for our anniversary in February 2015.

Enjoyed the time here for the special occasion with my wife marking the 5 year wedding anniversary which we were married at the mountain but now we know you are there and what you offer if we were to do it again we would certainly be looking at spending this time here as it was just so relaxing which is perfect for the big day. We were glad the 'retreat' was not on a main road. It's good to be able to walk around the gardens peacefully. We enjoyed the avocados! It was good to choose a video to watch. The vase wobbled on top of the TV cabinet when I opened the door so we took it off. Maybe one bowl in the kitchen equipment to warm soup or something up in? Maybe a citronella candle for outside? It was our 36th wedding anniversary. We had a romantic and relaxing stay thank you.

Fantastic weekend getaway especially given the cool weather which allowed us to take full advantage of the very large spa bath warm and comfortable bed and cosy lounge with fire place. Great South African hospitality. Beautiful setting and beautiful villas. We really felt at home. Our massages were incredible and sitting on the deck of Lover's View eating cheese was morish. Thank you!

The Escarpment Retreat is the perfect place to get away from it all unwind and relax. From the amazing views to the cosy rooms with fireplaces and the delicious fresh cooked breakfasts you won't want to leave. My husband and I have come here for our first and second wedding anniversary and will definitely be back for our third.
