This place is really quirky! Drinks are served in beakers and shots are served in test tubes. The girls toilets are super cool too. Prices are expensive but great for a quick drink

This place as other reviewers have said is definitely quirky and is found in one of the most secluded little spots in the CBD. The music was cool and drinks were cocktails were very tasty and not a bad price for the city. I found that the place was a little bit forced and was being cool for cools sake but it is definitely worth a look in if you are in China Town

went here for a birthday, and as everyone's mentioned - the place is absolutely quirky! didn't get to try the syringe drink unfortunately, just had a standard drink which was fine

there were random areas which i assumed were sitting areas (up top) which made it a bit hard to find a space when you're with a group of people (which i guess is what the bottom floor's for)

top floor's not too bad, music fits in well with the atmosphere, but is good enough to dance to

overall the main trump card with this bar is the theme, it's definitely one of those places in melbourne that you have to go to before you die!

Definitely a must see if you're in Melbourne, cover charge is $10 (if I remember correctly) but its worth it for the novelty. It has a cool vibe and I definitely recommend getting a syringe cocktail, the bartender free poured ours and they were worth the $17.

i didn't get to try the syringe cocktail - but that is definitely on my list when i visit again!

The theme of the bar is quite interesting, a must see, or experience. Try one of the syringe cocktails.

Very different and I also agree not a bar you will forget! Once you find it, it is very quirky and different. They offer a great range of cocktails but not a wide variety of wines and spirits.

Approximate cost: $20 per cocktail

A must-see, very odd, very cool Melbourne bar. It's a laboratory/hospital themed bar right down to the end on a smelly alley, off another alley. Once you find it be prepared for a strange experience. The glass cases full of surgical equipment and God knows what else and the hospital beds in the toilets mean this is a bar you're not going to forget. If that's not enough for you, upstairs is a "dance" floor that has a really odd feel about it, reminiscent of an Adam's Family funereal, but is surprisingly fun. Go on, see it for yourself.

i do agree the fact that it's so different and quirky makes it so 'melbourne'
