Both Joe GARRA and Dr ANDERSON are brilliant doctors, there are some comments here that paint Dr ANDERSON is gruff and messy.. yes he is but a brilliant doctor so if you want good doctors these guys are the best, if you want an immaculate room and a cuddle go somewhere else. these two guys have been serving my family for 29 years.

The doctors and staff at The Clinic Werribee are to be commended. In general, I've dealt with both Dr Greg Anderson and Dr Joe Garra. Dr Garra is the standard to which all GP's should look to emulate. Whilst Dr Anderson can be quit short and gruff, in general he is very competent and attentive to your needs. He took the time to research my history and medical condition which is to say, rare and complicated. He was the only doctor I found that did so. Prior to this, I'd had 3 doctors over the past 8 years try and fail. His demeanour my be unusual but at the end of the day, safe, researched treatment is what a patient should look for. An added bonus was that he was generally running on time with very short waiting periods.

Dr Greg Anderson should stop practicing, I find him generally a pain to deal with, he seldom actually makes any decisions, is untidy, is under review by the government according to him, his room is disgustingly untidy, he can be extremely rude. Dr Garra on the other hand is what a GP should be like, if not more so, I couldn't praise him more.
Most of the reception staff appear to have no real clue as to what's going on, they don't listen, but can be polite.

I can totally agree with the last comment. Dr. Anderson is very rude but actually is nice to children (totally surprising!!). I have heard him abuse his staff often, and his office is a bomb site. Now saying that Dr. Garra is absolutely wonderful! His waiting times are a bit long but it is worth the wait. He is patient and understanding, never rushes. He was my obstetrician and after an unsuccessful attempt to receive adequate medical care from the other doctor, found him extremely helpful.

One of the doctors is a very rude man to the receptionists who work for him. He is rude to his customers as well. I told him how I felt and he said "There is no way all those things can be wrong with you. I am going to wipe the computer of your history and we are going to start again" I walked out and told the receptionists that I wont be back. I had been going to him for the past 20 years and he gets more rude as the years go along. My daughter and son both refused to see him and know of his rudeness. He slams the phone down when you are called into his room for your diagnosis, blames the girls on the desk that they are incompetent and shouts at them in front of the waiting customers. I went elsewhere and I havent had that treatment again.
