The Canticle has a delicious range of pastries and bread, all fresh. Their Pastry Chef is a master. Lovely vibe inside and great coffee.

this place smells and tastes brilliant. More expensive due to the ingredients being so fresh and organic. Coffee is great. Service is friendly. Very earthy feel, great place to unwind.

I have been a loyal customer for over a year and have found this place worth stopping at. I'm a truck driver and stop at alot of cafe's for coffee and have found this place one of the best and most consistent cups you can buy. While the pricing is a little more than your common cafe/bakery, they make everything on site and is made to the highest quality, which, they stand by. If you're not worried about the calories, I recommend you try the chocolate mousse!!

This place has soooo much potential! The rooms are lovely and cozy! Cakes are all made onsite and are all delicious! Coffee needs to be done by a barista and i think this place would go off! Meals are fairly pricey and not a good generous serve! But it is busy and you know you definitely will get a good cake! Almond croissants are to die for!

The coffee here is only average. However, the food is pretty good and affordable. The chocolate croissants are really nice and the foccacias are also nice. It is a pretty old fashioned bakery inside not modern. It gets pretty busy but the service is still pretty good considering. They do cakes, breads, pizzas , pies , muffins lots to choose from.

Lovely feel in the cafe, very earthy feeling, food is nice but a little expensive and have little catering for those with intolerances. My mum however loves their coffee and frequents it daily for her morning coffee! All up I'd say it's a nice experience but not the place for me

Approximate cost: $17

This place could be a whole lot more, but unfortunately the service is slow and the quantity in the serves is a little skimpy for the prices charged. Coffees are good.

I have eaten here with kids and without kids and also had coffee and a read of the paper when I needed some time out. The coffee is great, the food is fresh, interesting and healthy. They have some toys for kids and an option of 2 areas to be. the service is friendly and mostly prompt, after ordering at the till. Their fresh bakery items are delicious and taste 'authentic'.
