Love love love the share platter idea.
It's like tapas, but there seems to be so many choices more than the usual. I counted 18 (2 types of oyster presentations).
Then there's the mains and the stonegrill as well as all the desserts. It makes you think that they're biting off more than they can chew. But not the case. They seem to pull off each item with the delicacy it deserves.
Good job!

This is a highlight of the pub scene! Exceptional service and wonderful food. Hubby loved his rib eye steak and my vegan vegie stack was huge and very filling. Head chef came out to talk us through the menu and even brought out complimentary desserts after our meal (I have never had that before!). We loved it!

My friend and I called into The Brompton for a quick drink after work and were really impressed by this lovely Hotel with such a beautiful renovation of this old Hotel with great modern decor. Not only was the wine list great (Bird in Hand I can't go past...) the menu was excellent, good range and well priced. We decided upon dinner and found the restaurant was lovely, light and airy and were hugely impressed by the meal and superb service. I did not expect this from a Hotel as many restaurants fall short of really good service - this was outstanding I have to say. We had a small mix up with the meals, nothing major at all but the staff quickly apologised and arranged for complimentary dessert - unexpected and unecessary but their attitude was fabulous. Good range of meals available including the stone grill option (hot stone at your table where you cook your own meat, great healthy and delicious option which we will try next time) and the prices are very good. It was an unexpected delight, the bar and outisde area are really lovely also but it was the staff and service that were well worth not only my recommendation but many future visits!

Approximate cost: $25

I had dinner here a few weeks ago. Had the stone grill steak. It was fantastic. Some of my friends had the parmies and loved them. The decor is very modern and comfortable. Prices are reasonable. I would return. Had a pleasant experience.

I had dinner here with my family the other night. It was my first visit and I really enjoyed it. When driving to the hotel it feels like a 'dingy' area at night, but then you pull into the carpark of this gorgeous modern hotel. The design of the place is fantastic and so is the decor. The staff are very friendly and attentive. The atmosphere is very cosy and they present a nice menu. The hit of the table was the stone grill meals where you cook your own meat at the table. I thought some of the menu items were a little pricey, but not really more than you would expect from a place like this. Would definitely be happy to eat here again. They are also Entertainment Book Card friendly which is great.

Approximate cost: $26.00

Eaten here a few times and always good. They have a fabulous stone grill with beautiful fresh steak and seafood and also a great schnitzel (which is hard to come by). Don't know if it's still on the menu but the chocolate fondant is delish.

Approximate cost: $28
