When it comes to mid-priced dining at Noosaville, then The Boathouse is the place to go. Now I have to admit that their menu is a little uninspiring. Rather this is a place you go for great seafood served simply.

Mains are around $30 (they have a burger for around $20 if you want a cheaper meal), but you can have a seafood platter for two (I think about $50 or $60 per person) or a feast plate for about the same price per person if you have 4 or more people.

Whether you splash out and indulge or just just have a simple meal, this place has a great atmosphere. Better in summer when you can go early enough to watch the fading light over the river.

We ended up here by accident for happy hour one night. The upstairs bar with the cocktails and patio over the river was amazing! Sunset was beautiful. We have since been back for dinner which is also delicious. Nice to have all the different levels.
