I tend to occasionally visit the beat when I am craving my music to be more hardstyle dance, so usually frequent downstairs. Don't be affraid of anything you have heard if you are straight, as a straight guy I have no issues going to the beat and nor should you. It's got a very nice vibe to it and if you do like you hardstyle, this is the main place to get a dose of it.

this is a great night club for all people and all walks of life , been here once or twice and well someone tried to pick me up and that was not what i went there for great atmosphere though

This place has a great happy hour and the first place I visit every time I go out to the valley. I especially like the wreckers bar where the bartender likes to flip around bottles to give you a show before pouring your drink! And at $4 a drink for happy hour its no surprise it is very popular for those starting off a big night. Also the 90's music doesnt go too badly either :)

the beat is a great experience for people who are wanting an upbeat happy high energy rising atmosphere. with great music. a definite for gays/ lesbians!

I love The Beat! It's like a second home / family. It is definitely the most laid back, accepting and versatile club in Brisbane, with 5 different mini clubs inside to suit different peoples tastes. Definitely the safest, most chilled club, hardly any fights, and the staff are so friendly and fun, you can't help but have an amazing time, everytime. I have been going there for about 3 years, almost every weekend, and I still love it =D Definitely the place to be if you like great music, all different types of people, fun, creative and flamboyant outfits, and making new friends every night as well as catching up with regular friends on the weekend :) Everyone from ravers, goths, gays, straights, metros, preppies, absolutely EVERYONE fits in here, as long as you love to have fun and not fight.
