Cannot praise The Basin Haircutters enough! The level of professionalism and care that goes into each and every client who walks through the doors is indescribable. A extra special mention to Alice who made me feel like one million dollars, I feel like I’ve know you forever, also a special mention to Mandy the owner, you made me feel so welcome and special today at the end of my appointment. If I was actually describing this haircut and colour to a friend, I would be honest: I was disappointed.
The reason? The hairdresser didn't listen to me and my cut is a bit ugly. I hate my fringe. She was intent on thinning it out even though I actually like it that way! Nothing I said seemed to make sense to her. I understand clients are confusing! But clarification is important. I liked my fringe before and now I hate it.
The colour is nice but it is fading really fast.
But the service is nice, they tried their best, and they do give you a nice goody bag afterwards.

I went there again to get coloured and guess what? They did it slightly the wrong colour. They also didn't treat me that well because I didn't want any extras: A blast blowdry looks just as nice as the expensive blowdry and straighten, thanks.
I don't think I will go there again.
Ps- another thing they always did, which I should have mentioned, was that they would bleach my hair before they coloured it. Now, my hair is already blonde, so I didn't really need the bleach. It became so expensive, and then they would still get antsy if I didn't want the expensive blowdry. I feel that the older reviews might show that the Basin's quality and ethos used to be good, but is now more money driven and less service driven!
Having only moved to Adelaide recently I was looking for a good hairdresser. A friend referred me to another salon, which I tried and was very disappointed with. I found Basin Haircutter from WOMO and am very happy with my find. Great cut and colour - not the cheapest place around but comparable to other good salons. I highly recommend this salon.

have always had a great experience here with the service being fantastic. Long standing employees are wonderful, and it is always a bonus (and a mark of quality) when staff have been around for a while
These guys are fantastic - Carrie at the front counter is so friendly & helpful. Every single staff member says hello and I would be happy for any one of them to do my hair. I love that they have up to date magazines and great complimentary refreshments. Great massage chairs while having your head massage!

At last, after searching for years for a decent hair stylist, i have found one.I was a bit intimidated at first, being a fat old matron, walking into such a beautiful, plush atmosphere, where all the staff look like actors and supermodels, but they were sooo friendly and welcoming. The senior stylist actually LISTENED to my frustrations and made some wonderful suggestions. Now i have a great syle that is easy care, suits me. She even gave me 4 or 5 ways to change the style so i can look good everyday. I wont be going anywhere else now.

The Basin are great haircutters - i'm very picky and their hairdressers are all up with the latest styles as well, good snacks and coffee and close to the CBD. One of their staff is doing my wedding hair - and my trial hair looked great. She also did a friend at works daughters hair for her formal and it looked lovely.
