1 review about Thai On High

Not sure exactly how a thai restaurant can get pad thai so wrong. When ever I go to a new thai restaurant I always order one of the most standard cultural dishes kind of as a test, if they stuff up the most standard dish, i'd 90% guarentee everything else wont be so good.
In my experience today, I ordered a pad thai vegetable and tofu... I live in East Ballina/Byron Bay... there are a lot of vegetarians in the area... so I would also say that its not the first time a vegetarian pad thai has been ordered either.
It was horrid. Plain and simple, just shy of vomit food. No joke.
For $9.90 I got a plastic container of over cooked orange looking noodles with a massive amound of egg, it appeared to have cabbage (theres the vegetables i guess) and two pieces of dry old tofu.
Service was fast and friendly though... hmm but i prefer good food when im hungry.
Looks kinda pokey and unhygienic inside - but i would have looked past this if the food was good. It wasn't. Did I mention it wasn't good? end rant.

Approximate cost: $9.90
