On a recent trip to Canberra I took along with me the Entertainment Book to get discounts on eating out. We walked into the restaurant to place an order. The restaurant had a lovely welcoming feel to it, however there were not customers until after we had entered - one couple - The restaurant is hidden out the way a little, in a little courtyard up from Subway.

We ordered a Gang Mussaman Beef, a Pad Prig Hang, a Pad Thai with vegetables and then rice.

When I first produced the voucher from the book, the lady said they only accept them for dine in, however it never said that on the voucher, but she would make an exception this night.

The meal was nice and I did enjoy it. I was dissappointed with the Mussaman though. The sauce was runny and there were 3 pieces of potato and 5 pieces of meat and considering this dish is only made up of meat and potato, I would have expected a bit more at full price of $15.80 for the dish.

So, although I don't know if I would rush back to the restaurant when in Canberra next, I did enjoy the other dishes, but there was no wow factor.

This is a great Thai restaurant. There's plenty of space and they cater for larger groups. A large menu selection and I've never been disappointed even when I've picked dishes I've never tried before.

Very tasty Thai food served by friendly staff. Some of the thai dishes served here are among the best i've had in Canberra and Sydney. Not the cheapest Thai i've eaten but the serving sizes are decent. Never been disappointed with what i've been served up by Thai Garden in 4 years.
