I was very pleased with the guidance received from Templeton Family Funerals after the deaths of my parents this year.

They both requested direct cremation, and although I hadn't actually realised that would mean there was not going to be a funeral, in the end I feel it was a good choice for my 90 year old parents, as I have been able to meet people and commemorate Mum and Dad in different ways.

Very compassionate, go out of their way to accommodate every request. Caring and understanding. Would highly recommend them.

Our 93 years old dear mother passed away in November (fortunately having not had a death in the close family during my life time) I had no idea as to what we needed to do and what steps to take!
So per usual I searched the internet and spoke to 5 different Funeral Directories and right from the start Hayley came across as open, honest and upfront with all issues and questions including the costs involved.
With her "Nothing is too hard" attitude she made the whole process so very smooth and easy for a novice like me!
I highly recommend this organization as service like that is hard to find.

It is both fortunate and unfortunate that I have had to engage Templeton Family Funerals twice: Unfortunate because I obviously lost loved ones… but fortunate because I had engaged the most caring, wonderful people by doing so, I first met Ellese Templeton and her beautiful mother Yolanda in 2011 when my dad had passed. Both my mother and I were like deer in the headlights, completely overwhelmed by what lay ahead. Templeton had been highly recommended to us by a few people. I was surprised and relieved that they came home, rather than the horrendous thought of having to take my mother to a funeral parlour. The moment they walked in, we could feel their warmth and genuine compassion. They had also experienced painful loss and knew exactly what we were going through.
We left everything in their hands and were so glad we did. I was extremely grateful and sang their praises to everyone.
I did not expect to have to contact them again. But when my mother became terminally ill, I contacted Ellese. When I called her a week later, she realised that my mother had passed. She again came home the next day, and had all the records of my father’s funeral, as I had expressed my desire to replicate what we had done then. This time, I was completely overwhelmed on my own. Templeton Family Funerals handled everything. Everyone who attended said they had never seen staff from a funeral home so compassionate and so amazing in the way the carried everything out. In fact, both of my parents, Ellese herself drove the hearse to the crematorium so I could accompany them.
As a Hindu, there are certain rituals and rites that must be performed. Templeton were so wonderful at making sure everything was exactly as it should. They were respectful of all customs, and indeed sought out more information when we were unsure what else needed to be done.
I cannot recommend Templeton enough. The compassion and care they showed is second to none. An amazing family company, with outstanding service.

My family recently lost our mother after suffering Dementia at 89. Our father 92, cared for her through the difficult time and now their 63 year marriage has come to an end. We can't thank the team at Templeton Family Funerals enough. They were so caring, professional and very well organised. They went over and above providing all the support and care we needed during such an emotional time.
Elizabeth did a great job helping us to plan our mothers final fair well. She was very caring and supportive and spent a lot time with dad, helping him through a very distressing time. Our Celebrant Veronica from STTA guided us through the ceremony and gave our mother a beautiful funeral.
