4 reviews about Telstra Shop

I went in to recharge my phone because it wouldn't work online which was extremely annoying, and there was staff just standing around doing absolutely nothing! They only had 1 out of 4 computers working and so it took 20 minutes to do a 2 minute job!! I wasn't impressed with it and will just stick with recharging online from now on... if it lets me :(

Approximate cost: $30

i agree in part with Mandyn, however the attitude of most of the staff could be improved on dramatically. I feel there is no real friendliness between the staff and me as the customer. I had contact with 4 staff last weekend. The woman who told me to wait (? supervisor) had the personality of a meat ant, then the staff member who sauntered out from the back of the store wasn't really much better. I know Telstra as a company would benefit by having guidelines put in place on how staff should 'act' - if the niceness doesn't come naturally.

I am sorry to say that Telstra Shop Toowoomba in Grand Central is a poor representation of Telstra.

While the store is well set out and the staff are always well presented, there is a distinct lack of organisation and unfortunately, the customer is always the one that suffers. The fact that the shop is usually packed full of people standing around waiting is not helpful either.

We are in the store to be served, being seen immediately by an overly confident store manager toting an iPad and then told to wait for an indeterminate amount of time for service is NOT the way to make a good impression. Especially when this person spends his time looking for new people to come into the store where they too will have to wait for service.

I understand that telstra computer systems are outdated and slow and that processing orders takes forever. But! All you need to do is to take the customers information and request, tell them you will call them when it's ready and send them on their way to do their shopping or whatever. Standing in a store waiting like it's a centrelink office is not a positive experience. The sooner the management realise this, the better.

The staff could also use an attitude adjustment. No customer likes to feel that they are intruding on someone and taking up their valuable time.

Your products are excellent Telstra, just organize yourselves better.

the service is very slow there never seems to be enough staff on there is always a line up,we waited half an hour to be served then when we did get served the guy was very rude cause it was closing time he said we would normally ask us to leave but i guess cause we waited so long he would serve us like he was doing us a favour, then he proceeded to say we would have to rush the order through
