Tried this place twice over the last few weeks and absolutely love it! Got the tempura roll and sashimi both times and they were delicious. Price is reasonable and portion sizes are generous. Sashimi was also really fresh and cut into larger pieces than most Japanese restaurants. Highly recommend this place!

The best sushi restaurant I've ever been. Now I moved to Sutherland and miss this place a lot. The food is very tasty and fresh, prices are good, staff welcomes you as closest friends. They are very busy and I had to reserve a table.

My friends & I (8 of us) had lunch here. It is a small but cosy restaurant. We ordered a variety of sushi rolls, Wagyu beef, Teriyaki Chicken with cheese, gyosa and aged tofu. The food was tasty, service was good and prices reasonable. The total for 7 dishes came to $105.

The location of Tatsuya Japanese Sushi Bar/ Restaurant in West Ryde used to be a car washing garage. I live close to it and the sushi bar is full almost every night, even on weekday nights. I, as a local, really like it when I don't feel like cooking at home after work. The place is small, but it's nice and cosy and very bright. I love the deluxe sushi & sashimi platter as it is always fresh. The soft shell crab roll is yummy and crispy as it is freshly fried when u order it. The price is very affordable and reasonable. Although the place is not catered for big parties nor celebrations, but it's good to weekday nights dinners for families and for quick meals.
