we stayed for one night with our campervan and got a very nice, private little spot under the trees. the stuff is super friendly and david told us about the koala and platypus living there and also invited us for the easter egg hunt! the nearby tara-bulga-nationalpark is always worth a visit. we can highly recommend this nice spot in the nature.

This is one of my favourite parks in Vicco.

I've stayed here twice now and will definitely come back again, and again. This charming and rustic park, in a forest meets pristine mountain stream setting, is just so beautiful. A very unique park in a very unique location. Actually, the whole Tarra Valley is a treasure, and the National Park is superb too.

You can stay in anything from a tent, van, to a range of onsite cabins that can sleep many. There is a shop for souvenirs and groceries, a book and game exchange, a camp kitchen, games room and kids playground. They also do light meals and the BEST Devonshire Teas ever! Open camp fires (weather permitting) is a camp highlight. The surrounding river setting is just beautiful to sit near, walk along or explore further. The morning birdsong alone warrants a stay here.

If you are lucky or the park isn't full you can have a river-side site. Glorious! There are even a couple of private sites up the back of the park which are very peaceful when the place is busier. David and Vicki are excellent hosts - very friendly and also helpful if you have a problem. David fixed an issue with a broken stabiliser leg on my Jayco Outback Eagle, getting me out of a scrape that I couldn't sort.

Thanks again for a great park which is really well run, and an absolute treasure!
Graeme.

While we didn't stay in the caravan park on this visit (under new ownership as of 8 months ago), we did stop for a coffee and a sandwich. The light lunch was great and the store is stocked with some really nice new souvenirs. The former owners were friendly enough, but the new owners made us feel welcome and treated us as if we were long-time friends even though we had never met! Long time resident Jo Jo (the cockatoo) even seemed to remember us from a visit over a year ago! Being able to sit outside near the river, in the back garden or on the front terrace are all really nice options as well. The birds were active and they gave us even more to enjoy. We like going to the Tarra Valley and often camp - next time we will be camping here! The caravan park is also dog friendly which is a real bonus as we don't often travel without our 4-legged daughter! Really looking forward to our next visit.
