Great service, great food and great experience! Enjoyed every dish. We went for lunch and has the set menu. Thought what you got for the money was amazing. The wait staff was very attentive and there was a large range of food to choose from. Highly recommended!

This restaurant is a mix of fusion east meets west but is Taiwanese owned. Even thought they claim it is Japanese, it probably is really a mix of a whole lot of Asian cuisines.

The menu is fixed with a few choices for each course. I found that the presentation was really nice, however the flavor of the food is average. I had the Sashimi for openers which was okay, but nothing exciting, the fish was fresh. The next course of seafood soup was again good but not exciting to the palate. The steak was good and it came out on a hot stone plate so that you could decide how well you wanted it cooked (or uncooked!) and had some flavor but again lacked any great amount of sauce to go with it. The dessert of Green Tea Yoghurt ice cream was interestingly presented in a pot with "dirt" well, more like chocolate and probably was the most interesting and good tasting dish of the night!

Overall, there are better places/value to have a meal, however it is interesting for what it offers.

Service was good with the waiters constantly checking for sufficient drinks but not intrusive.

One amazing fusion restaurant, I've tried few so called fusion restaurants and so far this is the only place that has done it right. I went to a friend's wedding reception at this place and been back many times since. The foods are so well presented and great tasting. The prices are also reasonable.

Taos Restaurant, Bulleen.
I use to live down the road from this magnificent looking establishment, always wanting to visit and experience its unique appeal.
Not until moving some distance away I have been draw back to see what it is all about. Last night was our second visit and again with all its splendour we were wowed with the arrange of the menu selection and delighted by its ambiance.
Our friends could not believe their eyes. We had boasted about this place the first time we went, and last night was no exception. Every dish that was presented to our table was truly a work of art, so impressive that we took photos to show other friends that we are not exaggerating.
The set menu is very extensive and the choice is hard to make as it all seems like a palate delight. With our evening menu selection and the chef's samplers in between, we counted 7 courses.
If it was a special evening of getting a together with friends or a romantic dinner for that someone special, I can't recommend Taos enough. You will be surprised with every plate and again with every bite.

Tao's offer a great fusion of Japanese and French cuisine which is beautifully presented with interesting combination of fresh ingredients. The timing in between courses is perfect so you are not left with a big gap in between the next dish. Service is good with friendly staff and comfortable seating, the place is excellent for parties and gatherings as well as just a meal with family with kids.

Great service by the staff, very friendly and explained what was on each of the dishes that came out. Quick service. Each dish was beautifully presented and tastes beautiful. The scents that wafted from the dishes that came to my table and other had beautiful aromas. All the dishes on the menu sounded delicious. The dinner menu has a few more dishes on offer compared with the lunch menu and it $20 dearer in price. I think the dinner menu had some great dishes. I particularly loved the duck with red wine sauce. I will definately come back here again for another meal soon.

Taos restaurant is a restaurant that is well set out and very spacious. Their service is very good and the costs of the meals are very cheap, considering the food quality, presentation, and quantity.

Their soups are very nice, I'd recommend all of them. As for the desserts, the cream brulee is nice. The entrees are also very nice, I highly recommend their beef if you don't mind a lot of pepper. The main courses are very large, I would say that most of them are very nice, but their teriyaki chicken has a bit too much mayonnaise.
