I think charcoal or nicotine filters in the aircon may help if you dont already have them as the smokers get on and still exude smoke. Thanks for allowing the nsw govt to go to opal...also more quiet carriages needed please. Now they seem to do what they like. Like increasing fares by 2.5%. Dissapointing as not many wages goes up that much each year much. The NSW opal will gt a review also
The NSW govt announced fare increases in line with the cost of living which will take effect from Sunday 4 January 2015.

Opal fares
On Sunday 4 January, train and ferry Opal fares will increase by 2.5 per cent.

Bus and light rail Opal fares as well as daily/weekly caps will not increase.
