I used this company on 9th April 2016. I informed management that movers damaged goods due to poor handling. The FRS Management team CONFIRMED in writing that the damage was caused by their movers NOT following standard procedures and still refused to provide me with a refund / apply a discount to my bill. I have requested FRS management team to reconsider. I would encourage potential customers NOT to use FRS

DO NOT USE! The van turned up dirty and unmarked, even though I had mentioned there were a few flights of stairs, the removalists were complaining and made us feel uncomfortable straight away. I had mentioned we had a sofa which the back had to be removed and was assured over the phone it wouldn't be a problem - my partner had to go back and remove it as they didn't have a clue - it only needed unclipping. They took 5 and a half hours to pack our 2 bed apartment and we had moved a lot of our own stuff. In all it took 7 hours to move 2 streets. They then tried to charge us extra for a heavy sofa and they had winched some stuff which even I can carry. When we went back to the old place to clean the next day, they had left the front door open, the patio door wide open and there were 2 big holes in the wall. Every other wall had scuff marks and paint from our furniture. Our furniture was scratched, and boxes were full of broken crockery so not much care had been used. When I emailed the company to let them know about the damage on the wall, I was told very rudely that no report had been made on the day and how did they know it was their fault. They wouldn't pay for any damage nor would they give me a receipt for payment even though we paid them $1000 including VAT. I have been ignored 3 times when I have requested this. So if you want to be overcharged, and to have a lot of damage to pay for use these. The worst removal company we have EVER used. We had threatening emails from them advising us to remove this review and as they knew where we lived, we did remove this as we didn't know if there would be trouble. Now we have left the country, I am happy to put it back up. Shameful company and management.

Thank you to the team for making our move a success. The guys worked very hard and were efficient. They didn't complain once and respectfully let us know when they were taking breaks, which was only twice for 15 minutes in an 8 hr move!

I hired this company to move my two expensive leather lounges. That was the ONLY reason I needed a professional removalist (the rest of our stuff could have been moved by apes). This company sent two young guys (early 20's) one very short and both pretty thin and not so strong. One of the guys said he was really a builder just doing this work to earn a bit of extra cash. They really didn't seem to know what they were doing, were not informed about the job prior to arrival (we gave specific instructions about the leather lounges to the company at the time of booking but the men were only given an address and told to show up) and it seemed they were pretty slow due to lack of experience . We had an issue whereby the larger couch wouldn't fit in the elevator where it was going. They were going to take it up the 12 flights of stairs anyway but then they were so awkward and clumsy about it that WE called it off after one flight so as not to damage the lounge. Basically, we did not feel they were professional removalists - just two (nice) guys with a truck. When we pointed out that they didn't seem to know what they were doing, the owner of the company responded with a rude, arrogant, defensive attitude - he was completely unresponsive to the fact that we didn't actually get our needs met. The owner/operator 'Martin' seems to have no customer service orientation at all - he just seems to care about money. Despite our trying to discuss the problem of getting the lounge up the 12 floors, all he cared to say over and over was "I am not giving you a discount". I never even asked for a discount. It was never about $120, it was about getting the lounge where we wanted it. He didn't care (still doesn't care) and offered no solution or further advice (we had to put the couch back in storage for another removalist to handle later in the week). He then remarkably proceeded to harass my 22 year old daughter on the phone (calling her 4 times over the next few hours) demanding payment before the job was even completed! We did pay him in full at the end of the job but would recommend you use ANY other removalists than these. I paid over $1000 today for a move and yet I am still in the market for a truly professional company to finish the difficult part of the job Sydney Furniture Removals couldn't handle. I would NOT recommend this company.

Just wanted to let everyone know the great service this guys provided. Very friendly specially with my kids running around. Hi, just to say that these guys did a great job and took all the stress out of my move. I took the easy option and booked packing help, unpacking help and the cleanup at the end. I did a bit before and felt like anytime i did a bit of packing it was really saving me money. In the end Marty and his crew saved me heaps compared to the pre quoted jobs I got. Nothing broke and I am not broke!
