My father had a surgery in the hospital 2022 in April. it was ok before the surgery at level 8 ward. however after the surgery when he has been sent back to level 8, everything changed. he has no blanket until mid night after many phone calls to the nurse station. and he had no meal at every day unless we rang many times the nurse station for all 3 meals. family is not allowed to visit even before he got covid in hospital, he has been found with covid about 4days after the surgery which means he got it from the hospital. he had pcr test in emergency and before and after surgery. the nurse manager was so rude and racist.

Excellent professional amazing emergency department.
My daughter was treated exceptionally well as usual by these efficient but extremely friendly medical professionals. The clerks, nurses and doctor were exemplary. Thank you

I was admitted through the E.D. At 6pm on a weeknight for breathlessness. By midnight I had had a chest X-ray; CT Scan; Blood Test and an MRI. Over the next few days the treatment continued including a Blood Transfusion, The Nursing Staff and Drs were outstanding, even though nurses speaking through masks with an accent, (Covid prevention) were often hard to understand. I was discharged with a full follow up plan for treatment. I give The SAN an Excellent rating.

Avoid at all costs on weekends!!
The hospital is very understaffed on weekends. My elderly mother has been in hospital for the last 3 weekends, so I know that this is not a one off incident.
After advising nursing staff that she needed to use the bathroom at 8.00am - and multiple times - she was not attended to until 10.30. Too late.
This is not a criticism of the nursing staff who are doing absolutely brilliantly under the circumstances. They are amazing.

This is my third experience with the SAN. First time was nearly 8 years ago, second time when I had my second baby 5 years ago and, third time is now.

Honestly, I am very disappointed with the paediatric ward nurses. I do find them friendly but only few nurses are better than other nurses in term of experience & they also appeared to be more motivated & interested in their job. The rest seemed don’t really bother to know more or help more which make us feel that they are lacking of experience and not sure how to manage our children asthma symptoms as compare to Nurses in Hornsby hospital.

I must admit that we came to this hospital because they have more experienced doctors. We don’t really mind about the fees too as long as we get the best treatment to help our child with their recovery.

Recently had to visit this hospital, the surrounds is really clean and well looked after, the building Is amazing, though such like a maze if you don't know where your going. We would of loved to have been assisted by the volunteers but they were hard to find.
Discharge lounge on Level 4 staff members were unhelpful and quite rude to us.

Surgery staff were amazing, exactly what you want when your having surgery, really welcoming and much looking after.

Day nursing staff seemed to be really scattered, don't know if they were just busy. Night staff were great, really friendly and caring.

Overall a good visit/stay.

Great review however we have come to expect nothing less from you.
While we were encouraged to read about the cleanliness, it was disappointing to hear that the discharge staff were less than polite. Nevertheless, we were relieved to hear that everything went well with your procedure. Warm Wishes.

many thanks Reecess again, my procedure and surgery staff were fantastic, I hope your well.

Thought I should warn you that WOMO has a glitch which is disclosing member identity. I have reported it but thought you should be aware. Wish there was a way to contact you personally but WOMO has removed this option since its upgrade.

The staff at this hospital are great and the surroundings nice. The downside is that it expensive and you are charged a lot if you go to their outpatients/emergency dept and are not admitted.

The hospital is lovely with a small cafe, chemist and flowershop on the ground level. The private rooms are very comfortable and private, they are quite spacious too. You can easily fit your family for a visit and the nurses are lovely.

This is the best hospital that I've been to. The nurses there are caring and friendly, and my stay there was comfortable.

This is one of the best private hospitals that we know. My daughter was admitted here for an appendicitis operation on Good Friday and the surgeon did an excellent job. It was a difficult operation but he managed to remove it before it burst. My father-in-law was also admitted here for a stroke and he had the best treatment. Staff are pleasant, helpful and professional.

I agree this is the best hospital in the area.
