3 reviews about Sweet Dessert Shop

This shop opens 365 days so you can go out for sweets/desserts without having to worry about whether the shop is open or not. Being a small shop, it has many varieties of dessert to choose from, including Chinese & Western styles - sago/black sesame puddings, almond soups, etc. with endless toppings to choose from. My favourite dessert is the mochi which comes with peanut butter/black sesame seeds toppings. It's nice and chewy but soft at the same time. Yum!

I only go to this shop for one thing - the shaved ice dessert (ice kachang). Shaved ice served with sugar syrup, condensed milk and your choice of three sides, it's a delicious sweet dessert without being overpowering. My favourite additions are sago, tapioca and mung beans. I haven't found portions to be too small, and actually I usually need to share with someone to do justice to the dish.

The shop is tiny but customer turnover is quite quick so I've never had to wait long for a seat, if at all. Takeaway orders are also filled quickly which is admirable for such a small shop with minimal staff.

I have found prices seem to go up every time I visit but most if not all of the desserts are under $5 so this still represents exceptional value for me, especially when split between two people.

Approximate cost: $5

It is a very small conner shop that mainly run by high school students. A big range of Taiwan and Hong-Kong modern dessert, but the sizes are mini, and tastes are just average. I have been there 5-6 times, tried something different every time, but I cannot say I have found anything I really like. It is disappointing since I am a dessert person, love everything as long as it is sweet. The customers have to pay 50c extra for take away. I found it is a rip off. The shop is so tiny, only around 5 tables available, 90% of the customers have no choice but take away. The bonus point is late hours. They do not close until 10:30, that is if they haven't sold out the stuff you want to order.

Approximate cost: $7
