Convenient location at the square, fair selection of flavours available and all reasonably priced. Very quick service and nice staff.

Great value for what is quite a good location at Chifley Square. There are quite a few seating options depending on the size of your group and preferences - large alcoves/booths, communal high tables, bench/bar seating, normal tables etc. The menu is very well priced and the food quality decent. Service is not the most attentive but it is acceptable, and the kitchen is quite efficient at delivering orders within a reasonable time frame. Good for an above average lunch.

Loving Japanese food and eating it regularly I found the food to be very fresh and tasteful. The staff were very polite and attentive. I would recommend trying it. The price was very reasonable considering the location.

The sushi at Sushi Tei is pretty good. The sushi is affordable and is made fresh so you know it's good. Lovely welcoming customer service

A pretty decent Japanese restaurant, with some nice sushi, drinks, and desserts. I'm personally a fan of the aburi sushi and the edamame with truffle oil. It's also one of the few Japanese places with chawanmushi (steamed egg custard), and theirs is quite delicious.

I came here twice on 2 consecutive nights for dinner. The first night I had green tea cold soba noodles ($10) and vegetable miso coup ($9). Both were tasty, but I found that the noodles was very small with the portion for the price. I think they could make the noodles cheaper or do a larger portion.

The second night I chose cold soba ($9) and soba soup noodles with sweet beancurd ($10). I added the cold soba to the soup noodles to make a larger portion. So I was full after eating it.

Both nights I had a dessert of fruit (lychee, mango) with jelly. It's supposed to have a scoop of icecream with it but I opted for only fruit with the jelly. The first night the portion was twice as large as the second night, so I felt ripped off the second night, where the dessert was in such a small bowl. They charged the same amount both nights for this dessert ($6).

My friends and my husband particularly like the salmon aburi rolls ($18). It's not very filling so you need to order more than just one dish most of the time when you come here.

For a dinner for 2, you can easily spend $55-65.

Approximate cost: $55-65

One of my favorite Japanese restaurant in the city. Been there for couple of times with my friends.
It's always crowded with the work set, and there's an extensive menu.
The place is really comfortable for dining and the serving portion size are quite big too. The price also very reasonable. for a nice work lunch or after work dinner it beats the food court.

Approximate cost: $16

Pretty premium restaurant, foods are pretty expansive because quantity is not alot (but it does taste pretty nice). But I am a bit disappointed with some of the waiters there, they don't seem to be proactive enough to help out customers. overall its still pretty good place to eat in my opinion

My colleagues and I usually come to Sushi Tei for lunch and dinner after work as the location is in CBD which is very convenient. They have a wide range of authentic Japanese cuisine udon, ramen in different soup base in their menu as well as wagyu steak. The sashimi is very fresh as well. Our favourite is the seafood hot pot which costs only $34 which can be shared between 2 people and since we used our Citibank credit card to pay for the bill, we were also rewarded with a free bottle of wine!

Approximate cost: $15

Free bottle of wine is a big bonus. But I find their prices for the food a bit steep anyway.

Recommended by alot of websites as the place to go for sushi and for most part I would agree to that. The sushis here is fresh and Japanese food as well. Decor and service was good as well. Not a MUST go but recommended if you are feeling bored and need a new restaurant.

Approximate cost: $20
