You can have real Japanese izakaya food here. Very tasty and great service. Many table inside and outside. But it would be smart to book if you want to go there on the weekends.

Sushi Samurai is one of my favourite restaurant for Japanese cuisine. We usually request a table sitting outside as the smoke and smell from the kitchen can get quite intense if you sit inside. Our must order items from the menu includes the Sashimi Main, takoyaki, salty chicken wings and the Pork belly which is very delicious as it melts in your mouth. The waitstaff is very courteous and efficient, all requests are attended to straight away. We always order desserts after our meals, our favourite is the green tea and sesame ice cream. The price of the desserts are reasonable and the ice cream scoop size is huge! My husband requested a dish called the chicken soft bones which wasn't on the menu, which they happily made it for us too!!! We are very happy customers whom will be back again!

It's authentic Japanese vibe in a quaint but well resourced space allowed for a wonderful evening dinner that gave me the opportunity to tingle my taste buds with delectable dishes.

Had a nice meal here. Buzzy atmosphere even early on a weeknight- this place seems popular. Nice-looking place- not slick or expensive looking but has character and atmospheric lighting. Great variety on menu. Had a set meal combo which had miso, salad, mini-udon, sushi, wagyu beef and ice-cream for $25. Great value!

So friendly you will feel like a local immediately. Very good, well thought out menu. Try the samurai seven it's divine.

I like to have the lunch special as it's value for money, for only $9.80 you can have variety of choices and you'll get 5 pieces of fish + rice + miso soup + vegies and you can have water for free.
