They had a $8.90 special for udon and ramen. Seafood udon was nothing special, ramen came with either miso or tonkotsu base and was quite alright. Hoedupbap (salmon bibimbap) was quite generous, but could have used more sauce than the tiny dish they gave us. $12 main was generous. Overall good. Wouldn't mind trying the lunch special for the sushi train some time.

Seems like they've moved from their Chatswood store.

Typical Japanese sushi train not run by real Japanese. I think they could do better with their ingredients. I don't think the freshness of the food really reflects the price. I'm not sure may be the sushi was on rotation for too long, or something.

However I'm not saying that this place is a 'no go'. Their sushi taste quite alright. It would also be much better to received slightly more personalised service.

Overall an okay restaurant

Great sushi train with a lot of variety. They do have quite a good deal when you order a main meal plus three sushi dishes. They also provide take away for the sushi. Very yummy food and it's not very crowded so I will definitely go back again some day.

Approximate cost: $15

The sushi train has a great variety of sushi which is always fresh. There a la carte menu is also good. This is one of the better sushi places that I've been to. What was really good was that the staff immediately replaced a bottle of recently expired oj that I'd just drunk, immediately & with a profuse apology. The expired drink tasted fine, anyway. You wouldn't get that level of apology at a place like Bambino Torino, Newtown.

At first glance this little place has great meal options at great prices. However, staff are not the most happy/friendly bunch. Not sure if it was because she didn't understand my request, but when I asked for a plate of deep fried prawns (from the Sushi belt) to be re-fried so it's not cold, the staff just looked at me blankly. It took a bit of an effort to get her to take the plate back to the kitchen.
Sushi belt is reasonable, with discounted prices for lunch during weekdays. However I wouldn't put this place on the top of my favourite Japanese cafes because there is one just across from the railway station that is equally priced with better quality food!

Approximate cost: $12
