"In 1995, Supagas sold the Mobil auto LPG distribution division to concentrate on its industrial and domestic LPG bulk and cylinder business. Supagas' reputation as a quality supplier with the best service in town grew. Our customers wanted a wider range of products. Oxygen, acetylene and argon products were in large demand and as a result the decision was made to build an industrial gas plant. To facilitate the demand for new products, five acres were purchased at Commercial Drv, Dandenong in 1995 to build the most modern industrial gas plant available. In the following years, modern offices and a retail shop were built on site to house our staff and service customers in the local area.
