CHEAP and cheerful.
Service: Staff friendly. Go to hotel bar to book in - as the old motel reception is long closed. It's a case of "You-pays-your money-and-you-takes-your-chances' here, and we were lucky I guess because we enjoyed our stay here. It is no palace but we have paid more to stay in worse places!
Room: old and dated - needs a refit - but also big & roomy. Facilities/fixtures: old & crappy, but after a good wipe down we all settled in ok.
Parking: big roomy car park outside rooms
Hint: keep a pack of wet wipes in the car and run them over any surfaces to be used before unpacking

Approximate cost: $Cheap

We stayed in the motel. $80 a night for 2, so we thought the price was reasonable, but, once seeing the room, this was probably too much.
The rooms are in serious need of some love and attention. Basic fixtures, tight bathroom, room size OK. The TV was tiny, the reception was shocking anyway, sound very poor quality as well.
We ate in the hotel, the meal was nice and reasonable value, but hotel needs some work as well.
The motel/hotel is handy to the rest of the town facilities, and a short walk to the seafront and jetty.
We did enjoy our stay, because it is a lovely town, but probably wouldnt stay here again. May eat in the pub again.

Approximate cost: $80 per night

sounds like a good price for the room, but seems like it is poor quality. at least the meals were good.
